The European Social Services Awards (ESSA) brings together social services professionals from across Europe to celebrate excellence, passion, and dedication in delivering support to the most vulnerable in our societies.
Last year’s edition in Lisbon welcomed 180 participants, including EU officials, national and local policymakers, project representatives, invited partners, and speakers. The event attracted over 20,000 website visits and 45,000 online votes for nominated projects.
In 2025, we are introducing new award categories to engage more professionals and partners eager to:
- Connect with experts from diverse backgrounds
- Discover the latest trends in social policy and practice
- Explore innovative solutions to address today’s social challenges
The event is made possible thanks to the financial support of public and private partners, who benefit from a wide range of visibility and engagement opportunities over two impactful days.
