FAQs

Please follow these steps to register for the event:

1. Sign in or create an account.
2. Once signed in, visit the ESSC 2026 Home Page. You can click on Events on the ribbon at the top of this page. From here, you can click the relevant event you want to register for (in this case, the European Social Services Conference 2026).
3. You will find the price associated with your registration at the top of the page, which you can click on to register.
4. Your fee is based on your country level and organisation type. If you work for a member of ESN but this is not reflected in the price, please contact us at membership@esn-eu.org before initiating the registration, and we will unlock the correct rate as soon as possible.
5. Follow the instructions to complete your registration.
6. Once you have registered, download the Contribution Request & follow the instructions to complete payment via bank transfer.

To register for the parallel sessions, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account and go to your Dashboard.
2. Click on View Conference.
3. Select View Registration.
4. Click on "Registered for limited sessions".
5. Add the parallel sessions you would like to attend.

Please make sure to select your sessions in advance, as places may be limited.

Please note that you cannot add extra paid items through the online registration system once your registration is complete. If you have already completed your conference registration and would like to add additional paid items, this can still be arranged.

To add a Social Companion, the Pre-Conference Event, or the Networking Dinner after your registration, please contact conference@esn-eu.org. The conference team will assist you with registration and payment.

The Networking Dinner is not included in the conference registration fee and is a separate, paid item.

You can add it during your initial registration by selecting it on the registration page, or after registration by contacting conference@esn-eu.org.

The Networking Dinner will take place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, the same venue as the Conference. You can find more information about the venue here.

Following the close of sessions, guests are warmly invited to remain on-site to unwind and refresh. Pass by the Walking Practice Fair for pre-dinner networking, enjoy a drink on the roof of the conference centre, and discover the exhibition area. Take the opportunity to connect with exhibitors, gain new insights, and enjoy the stimulating environment before the evening's dinner.

ESSC 2026 has preferred hotels with special rates for conference participants. Booking through these hotels ensures you receive the best available rates and convenient access to the conference venue.

Valletta, Malta, is easily reached by air or sea. The main airport is Malta International Airport (MLA), with direct flights from major European cities. Seasonal ferries connect Valletta with Sicily and other nearby islands.
